Have Romantic Comedies Influenced Your Ideas of Relationships Too Much?

After a lifetime of compulsory monogamy, it can be a struggle to adapt to a new way of having relationships.

Many who practice alternative relationship models find themselves isolated with only websites, and books to rely on for advice or therapists who don't affirm their ideals and values. Most people who start polyamory & non-monogamy feel confusion and frustration trying to navigate with limited support and resources. Perhaps you can relate.

Maybe you feel like no one understands your concerns including your therapist or those who are supposed to provide help.

Do You Feel Stressed, Worried, Lost?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

You’re feeling stuck in a continual fight with nothing feeling resolved.
Feeling overwhelmed by what’s out there and wishing someone else could just show you the way.
You fight all the time with your partner/s.
You are struggling with jealousy and insecurity.
Struggling to find balance - your google calendar is a mess.
You don’t feel supported or seen by your partner/s.
You’re feeling confused about what type of non-monogamous relationship would work best for you.
You’re worried about coming out to friends and family.
You’re struggling to find like minded people to date.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that even though you may feel isolated, there are many out there experiencing the same worries and struggles as yourself.

We don't have great resources for people who want to make their own way when it comes to relationships - asking for help is the first step to get the support you need.

Even if you don't believe you deserve care, you do. You deserve to take care of yourself.
